GREENING THE HEARTLAND
2009 ---- DETROIT MICHIGAN
The USGBC Detroit Regional Chapter is
pleased to announce the Greening of the Heartland Regional
Conference will be held May 31 through June 2,
2009 in Detroit at the Marriott Renaissance Center
in partnership with COBO Center. The DRC is
partnering with The Engineering Society of Detroit
to plan this event with our Special Task Committee
and the West Michigan Chapter. Our empowering theme
of “ABILITY” illustrates that an approach
to projects and practices with sustainABILITY as a
goal leads to multiple benefi ts. Among our conference
objectives are providing the “tools” to
achieving this goal, addressing the region’s
most compelling issues and offering outstanding educational
sessions, keynote speakers, tours and other activities.
